Let the SERVOLUTION begin………
Yes the wait is over. Today is Servolution day!!!
We kicked off the revolution of service with an awesome time of prayer at 5 this morning, laying the servolution foundation for the next 3 days!!
In a couple of hours our first team will hit the streets with a massive cleanup strategy. The goal is to pick up rubbish in every street, avenue, crescent, place, road, lane, boulevard, vale, drive, close, court, way, in Manurewa.
So if you want to be part of the Servolution, just come down to Clendon Recreation Centre Car Park and join the fun!!
This is the Day the Lord has made we will rejoice and be glad in it.!!!

Hi there, better late than …… It’s been hectic but Servolution has not been forgotten. The amazing thing was the ‘better together’ atmosphere that was created in working with the other churches in Manurewa. I’m looking forward to more churches joining us next year!!! One of the lessons I learnt during that week-end was that this ’serving’ attitude builds character in people. It pushes those boundaries of ‘comfort zones’ and requires you to step out and step up. SWITCH Youth had some reflection on character building and the question put to them was ‘ARE YOU THE SAME PERSON BEHIND CLOSED DOORS AS THE PERSON WE SEE IN PUBLIC?’ Is the character of JESUS only reflected when we serve together in public or can we have the character of Jesus even when no-one is looking? That’s the journey we’re on and I have to say that it’s been a challenge for some if not all of us. We want to be BETTER for next year’s Servolution and we’re starting now. We want to be Christ-like 24/7 whether people are looking or not and we are assured that our Father is always watching us. Thanks for the opportunity to serve…it was AWESOME!!!
