Leadership Questions every leader must ask!
Every leader must regularly ask himself / herself tough Leadership questions. Here are some questions I’m currently asking myself?
- What am I doing as a leader that is counter productive?
- Who in my team is the weakest link?
- Will I continue to do what I do if they cut my salary?
- How much time do I give to developing myself as a leader?
- The evidence of leadership is followership. Is there evidence?
- How wide is my sphere of influence?
My week so far
Monday: Met with our four Interns from LifeChurch currently studying at Pathways Bible College. Wow!!! talk about excitement and an ‘on fire’ bunch of people. They have just had their first week of lectures and they are so keen to learn and minister. I am excited for them!!
Tuesday: Met with Richard. He was inspiring and interesting. We have a lot of similarities in interest and ministry background. He is passionate about Yeshua! The guy is a visionary!!
Wednesday: Day of Meetings! One of my leaders asked me last night about my day and I said ‘well …filled with meeting…meetings…been talking all day… blah!..blah!.” She rebuked me in a godly positive and gentle way by saying.. “Pastor that’s influence!! You had a day of Influence”! Wow!! Didn’t see it that way! From now on I should always view meetings as a opportunities to influence.!!
Thursday: Today it’s Study Day…………….I don’t want to influence anyone today but myself….. with my reading and what I am listening to. It’s ‘Take In” time.
