Don’t despise the days of humble beginings

A small idea

A small conversation

A small amount of money

A small amount of time

A small number of people

A small amount of skill

But with a BIG GOD!

Eph 3:20 He will take it to whole nutta level!

Don’t give up!

GE – Your Enemy!

There is an enemy for everything.

The enemy of life is death. The enemy of health is sickness. The enemy of good is evil. The enemy of your tomorrow is your today.
There enemy of where you could be and need to be is where you are right now. The enemy of your future accomplishment is past achievement. The enemy of excellence is best. The enemy of best is ‘good enough’.

Reaching your potential comes when you are dissatisfied with the ‘good enough’ mindset. (GE)

GE attitude is an enemy of your Potential.

GE says:                    It’s done.

Potential says:         I am sure I can do it better.

GE says:                That’s how it should be done.

Potential says:         Lets try a different way.

GE says:               That’s the expectation.

Potential says:         I am not moved by people’s expectation. I am motivated by the potential in me.

Good Enough attitude produces average results. Don’t subscribe to it. You are not an average person.
Don’t accept the ‘GE’ attitude of society. ‘Good Enough’ restricts Potential and destroys Purpose.

Destroy the enemy today!

Live GE Free!

Proverbs 18

Hey this is good stuff! I Love Gods Word. Its powerful, refreshing, motivating, and definitely ‘lamp to my feet and light to my path’ Psalm 119. Read each verse slowly,meditate on it as you go…..Post a Comment on your favorite verse.

Proverbs 18

1 Unfriendly people care only about themselves;
they lash out at common sense.

2 Fools have no interest in understanding;
they only want to air their own opinions.

3 Doing wrong leads to disgrace,
and scandalous behavior brings contempt.

4 Wise words are like deep waters;
wisdom flows from the wise like a bubbling brook.

5 It is not right to acquit the guilty
or deny justice to the innocent.

6 Fools’ words get them into constant quarrels;
they are asking for a beating.

7 The mouths of fools are their ruin;
they trap themselves with their lips.

8 Rumors are dainty morsels
that sink deep into one’s heart.

9 A lazy person is as bad as
someone who destroys things.

10 The name of the Lord is a strong fortress;
the godly run to him and are safe.

11 The rich think of their wealth as a strong defense;
they imagine it to be a high wall of safety.

12 Haughtiness goes before destruction;
humility precedes honor.

13 Spouting off before listening to the facts
is both shameful and foolish.

14 The human spirit can endure a sick body,
but who can bear a crushed spirit?

15 Intelligent people are always ready to learn.
Their ears are open for knowledge.

16 Giving a gift can open doors;
it gives access to important people!

17 The first to speak in court sounds right—
until the cross-examination begins.

18 Flipping a coin[a] can end arguments;
it settles disputes between powerful opponents.

19 An offended friend is harder to win back than a fortified city.
Arguments separate friends like a gate locked with bars.

20 Wise words satisfy like a good meal;
the right words bring satisfaction.

21 The tongue can bring death or life;
those who love to talk will reap the consequences.

22 The man who finds a wife finds a treasure,
and he receives favor from the Lord.

23 The poor plead for mercy;
the rich answer with insults.

24 There are “friends” who destroy each other,
but a real friend sticks closer than a brother.

New Living Translation

For someone who is afraid and worried

Do you feel like you are walking through fire, swimming against the current, alone in the middle of nowhere? If you are going through a difficult stage of life and you are afraid or worried about the outcome. I want to urge you to put your trust in God today. He is bigger than your situation. God sometimes delivers us from some situations, other times also allows us to go through difficult situations. But one thing that is guaranteed according to Gods Word is that he will be with us no matter what.  He will never leave us nor forsake us.

He promised us in Psalm 23 that when we walk through difficult time he will not run away. David said  “….. though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for you are with me…..” God will walk with you and walk you through it. You probably need to go through that situation in order for you to understand what God wants you to know and learn in order for you to achieve and fulfill what is ahead of you. So hang in there for a little while. God will not dump you there. What God does not save you from, he will always walk your through it. Never doubt the presence of God right now. He is the God of yesterday today and tomorrow. He knows the end from the beginning.  You can not reach the mountain top with out first going through the valley! Today walk with your head up, God is with you. Acknowledge his presence now.

For someone who is going through a rough time

I was reading Psalm 27 this morning. Gave me motivation to face todays trials! If you are going through a rough time. this is for you. Don’t let evil walk over you today! Be calm as a baby, cool and collected.

Psalm 27 – A David Psalm

1 Light, space, zest— that’s God!

So, with him on my side I’m fearless,

afraid of no one and nothing.

2 When vandal hordes ride down

ready to eat me alive,

Those bullies and toughs

fall flat on their faces.

3 When besieged,

I’m calm as a baby.

When all hell breaks loose,

I’m collected and cool.

Don’t give up! 4

Give me one good reason why you should give up!

Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah!

NOT GOOD ENOUGH!

Think of  Nelson Mandela, spent 27 years in prison because of his opposition to the apartheid system of his country. He did not give up on his convictions. As a result he turned a nation around and made a huge impact in the political status of South Africa.

Don’t give up. You are writing history right now.

If you are getting knocked around and you think life is tough, think again!

There are many other people who are in worse off situation than what you are facing right now. I remember a story of a selfish teenager who was complaining about not having the latest Nike footgear. While he was complaining to his mum on their way out to the car park, he met a man with no feet sitting outside begging for money.

Are you complaining and about to give up? Think again. Put things in perspective.

Don’t give up!

Don’t Give Up! 3

A preacher came to our church the other day and he told a story about a donkey and a farmer.

One day a farmer’s donkey fell down into a deep well. The animal cried distressingly for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. He called his neighbours to help him but were unsuccessful in retrieving the donkey. Finally they decided the animal was old and too weak anyway. So they decided to cover up the well to prevent other animals from falling in like the donkey.

The farmer and his neighbours all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone’s amazement, he quieted down.

A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well and was astonished at what he saw. With every shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up. As the farmer’s neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up.

Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and trotted off.  What a smart ass.

My friend, life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well, is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a stepping stone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a step upward!

Don’t be a dumb ass.

Step up and never give up!

Let God Arise

Let God ARISE!! What a Powerful Statement!!

I have been meditating on this passage this morning Psalm 68. Do you have enemies? (Not necessarily people). Not everything and everyone is for you and with you. We are in a constant battle everyday. Don’t do it on your own. Let God ARISE within you!!

My goal today is to let God ARISE in my life! In my motives, in my attitude, in my speech, in my dealings, in daily business, in my marriage, in my children.

Today I choose to let God ARISE in my relationships, in my connections, in my finances, in my business, in my family, in my meetings.

Today I choose to let God ARISE in my prayers, in my decisions, in my leadership.

Today I am giving him more room to move than I did yesterday! I want to see Him ARISE!

Read the rest of Psalm 68 for the results of “God Arise” in your Life!!

God Reacts to Faith

Today I have been challenged again to exercise faith. Speak faith, feel faith, pray faith, touch faith, walk by faith, sow in faith, move in faith.

God reacts to faith. God is never moved by just our prayers, nor our tears, our words, our works even our promises. But He will always move when he sees faith. Faith attracts divine favour. Faith causes God to pay special attention to your situation. It is not the words of our prayers but the faith that your prayers carry that causes God to answer. It is not the tears that that makes God feel sorry for your situation but the faith in your tears that believes in God for miracles that will cause God to respond!

Without faith it is impossible to please God. Pleasing God releases the blessings and the power of God.

Choose who you listen to today

2 Timothy 1:7…   For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Fear is NOT from God. Fear is from Satan. Listening to your fears is listening to the Devil. He does not want you to succeed, be blessed and to accomplish all that God has purposed for you. Instead if you listen to the voice of God, he gives you POWER, LOVE and SOUND MIND.

He gives Power:

Power to overcome. Power to accomplish. Power to possess. Power to succeed.

He gives Love:

Love to share. Love to overcome. Love to heal

He gives Sound Mind:

Sound mind to make decisions. Sound mind to plan. Sound mind to understand.

Listen out for the voice of God speaking to you today! You will be empowered!
