Don’t despise the days of humble beginings

A small idea

A small conversation

A small amount of money

A small amount of time

A small number of people

A small amount of skill

But with a BIG GOD!

Eph 3:20 He will take it to whole nutta level!

Don’t give up!

Potential 1

You are more than what you think. You are more than what you have done. YOU’VE GOT POTENTIAL. Potential is not good unless it is released. The potential in a seed to grow into a tree that will bear lots of fruit is huge. In fact in a small seed contains a forest not just a tree. It also contains millions of dollars if you think about what those trees can produce. A wise farmer will release that seed to the ground and allow it to reach its full potential that is locked inside. You are carrying something that is greater than you and what you think. If you are a smart farmer, release it and cultivate it until it has grown to its full intended purpose.  You can do it. Start today. Procrastination frustrates Potential, so press forward. Give birth to the dreams and desires that God has placed in your heart. You can do it!

Leaders Make decisions

In my early years as a Christian I heard a lot of sermons / teachings on decision making and how decisions of today will determine your tomorrow. I am grateful for those sermons. Over the years I have made some really dumb decisions and also some very wise ones. And where I am today is a result of those dumb and wise decisions. I am a product of my decisions.
Leaders face with decision making all the time. The future of any organisation is determined by the decision of the leader today. I mentioned that I have made some wise and dumb decisions. Can I also add that as a leader I have also made some tough decisions too, some unpopular decisions in to accommodate change and facilitate growth.
If you are a leader and you are not making tough calls you are not fit to lead. The growth and the success of your organisation / business / church depend on your call. If you don’t make those tough calls right now, someone else will do them for you and it is not going to be pretty.
Stop sitting on the fence. Be decisive and take action. Your future is in jeopardy.

Business & Church

My wife and I own Samoa Multimedia Group Ltd, Radio Samoa Network (NZ) Ltd, Samoa Times Newspaper and iCatch Communications. People often ask me this question; So what’s the difference between leading a church and a business? I usually answer by saying; Well in business I can sack anyone anytime, but I can’t do that at church. If you own a business, you are the boss. If you pastor a church, you’re not quite the boss. Jesus is the head of the church.

Seriously whether you are running a business or pastoring a church there are principles and values that you can’t compromise.

Whether pastoring or running a business you still need good leadership. Must have vision, mission, values, systems etc….

In business you deal with people everyday, so is church. “In a business, a leader is trying to get people to do what they don’t want to do, and in ministry the leader is trying to get people to become what God wants them to be.”
