About Me
I met Jesus Christ when I was 17 years old and he changed my life.
I was raised in a religious home. It gave me a good foundation on the things of God. I had Christ in my head, but not in my heart. In 1986 someone shared with me the love of God and that he has a plan for my life. From that moment on I committed my life to Jesus Christ and to sharing his love with others. I preached my first sermon in 1987 and still preaching today. I’m married to an awesome woman – Ane, a father to four beautiful children, Grace, Canaan, Roanna & Louise. I am blessed to pastor an amazing group of people at LifeChurch Manurewa Auckland New Zealand.
I love God, I love people and I love life. I think it is a sin for a Christian to live a boring life when there is so much beauty and goodness in the world God gave us. Jesus said “I came so you may have life and life to its fullest” (John 10:10).
So choose Life!
I also think that going to church should be fun and not boring. Is that a sin as well?
On this blog you will find my thoughts on God, church, leadership, business, vision, creativity, family ………..just random thoughts.
Hey drop me a line, love hearing from you.
Blessings!
Lui

Hi Brother Lui,
I am really happy for you and that you have never lost focus from the year 1986, you are a Jeremiah, the Lord already chose you to pastor the flock of the Lord while you were still in your mother’s womb but it was up to you to find that and to be honest i am very impressed..as the Lord says go i show you a foreign land and you will be fruitful…well he definitely holds his promises….well done pastor i am so proud of you…God Bless you…Mark Atoa
Hi Mark, always great to hear from you and thank you for your encouraging words. 25 years ago I gave my life to Christ, a decision that totally impacted and changed my life forever. The journey hasn’t been easy but by far very rewarding. You were one of my closest friends back in those days – ’87 to ’89 who encouraged me to go crazy for God and to attend a bible study during lunch break. those were great times! By the way have you still got your red and black stripy Gap-J jacket..lol!!!
Hey Lui,
Love your work and life mission. I just wanted to ask you a question and its a deep question and I hope you dont mind me asking. DO you have accountability to anyone in your church or have a board of directors that assist you? Just like to get your ideas in this area. How do you assess your strengths and weaknesses?
Much respect
Pene

Just browsing thru your awesome website, and thinking of you and your beautiful wife Ane.
Thankyou for having us in your church and baptising me in the name of Jesus, after that day, God restored my family, and my life completely and still working in our lives today.
Also i wanted to let you know, that I won the free scholarship for the Elim Bible College next year. ‘Praise God’ It was an amazing feeling, I mean shuffling of names in the bowl and pulling out my name, I knew then it was confirmed by the only teacher in heaven, so yeapppp i’m going for it.
Will always have you and Ane and family in our prayer’s in our hearts till the very end.
I went along to the community meeting and met up with Salome Mitchell, it’s so great to see your people moving in spirit throughout the community!
